What to expect when you book a session with me?

Before the session
Creating a connection
First, we talk on the phone and get to know each other. You tell me all about yourself, your life and your family. I’ll explain how the session works and you can ask me any possible question you can think of. After we have decided that we are a perfect match and have set the date for the shoot, it’s time to connect with your family. I can drop by or we can Facetime, whatever suits you best. Now that I’m not a stranger anymore we can all look forward to the big day: your family’s photo session! -
During the session
Blending in
From the moment I step into your world I blend in with your family: I adapt to your rhythm and family dynamics. Maybe your family needs to get used to me a little bit, but before you know it your kids will be showing me their rooms and we’ll all have a laugh. My goal is to become part of your family for a few hours, without interfering in your daily life. I’ll be the cool aunt that hangs around and happens to have a camera in her hand. -
After the session
stay in touch
We will stay in touch until you have your beautiful products in your hands. And probably after that as well. I’ll help you to make good product choices that suit your family and guide you wherever needed. I’m just a phone call or text away!
Real is perfect
I can guarantee you that once you’ve done a photo session in unposed documentary style, you’ll never want another type of photo session again. Why? Because nothing is expected of you other than being yourself. Your kids don’t have to behave like little angels (please not!), your house doesn’t have to be clean and tidy. And you don’t have to worry about matching outfits. Be you and I’ll show you that real art can be made out of your real life. Sounds good right?
